Only Kai , Storm and Numel didnt reply in my topic ( In the mod room ) other then that

Indi + Pimpin said seems intresting ( Imo they were willing to try )

All the other staff agreed on my suggestion to merge with OB .

TDS ignored them and declined the offer so imo he didnt listen to his staff .

I got demodded and he removed OB's affliation button ( which is rly sad imo )

I dont know if I got demodded for the suggestion or not .

This post will most likely be deleted aswell , just like my topic in the mod room about the merge .

And I will most likely get warned or banned for saying this =/

He declined my offer while 90% of his own staff agreed on it and the other 10 % are because the 2 didnt reply on the topic .

Imo TDS cannot decide that the merge is off without that , he didnt make DHQ alone now did he ? No he didnt he got help from his staff and members so he cannot simply decide that he declines my offer all by himself .

If I get a warning or ban for simply stating my opinion and view then thats weak and sad , I am not offending anyone , just saying what alot think but no one says

I know its his forum , but IMO you cannot decide such a decision on your own , you did not build the forum on your own , you had help of your staff and loyal members . And basically his staff says ''yes we wanna merge'' . All I am saying is , he doesnt listen to his staff which IMO a good leader should always do . He didnt make DHQ big and great on its own now did he ?

A merge would be a good thing depending on the site you merge with. these site you talk about i know nothing of. so a merge i'm neither for it or against it. if it happens it happens

Because TDS knows OB and what it stands for . And alot of people from DHQ are on OB aswell , so it woudnt be that its a complete strange board .

Heh. Looks like you finally got a good look at how DHQ is run, eh? And yeah, you're right, the topic probably will get deleted, and you probably will get banned. That's how TDS and TDG deal with all opposing views.

So, I guess an actual introduction is in order. This username is an alias. My actual account on DHQ is Vincent K (note: my username was changed by TDS). Fourth member of DHQ, originally a Super Mod (currently called a G - Mod). I was promoted to position of Admin after quite a long time of being on DHQ, and selflessly helping it grow. Yeah, I liked being in charge of the Elite Mods, and then being an Admin. TDS told me once that we were "equals", which, in retrospect, is a load of bs. My friend was the third member, who became the fourth Admin after me. Eventually he was demoted from his position due to inactivity, and the next Admin was promoted: Flame Champion.

The staff back then was very good back then. Elearu (yes, the same Ele from OB) was an Elite Mod, as was Gilfer. We all worked together...well, for the most part. Eventually, however, things started getting out of hand heading towards July. TDS was pretty much neglecting the opinions of anyone other then himself and TDG. Hell, on several occassions, FC and I never even got word of some of the changes he'd make until he had already done it. There was no group decision. So we got fed up with it. I began to revolt, per say. I resigned from my position, but not before leaving a back door. Basically, it was a secondary account that had been given the "Member" user group. But not the real "Member" user group, it was really a fake that had access to the Admin CP. Why would I make that? In the past, I'd end up being the only one to rid DHQ of threats, so, if you'd believe it, that back door was just so if I needed to, I could intervene.

I had posted in my resignation that I would demote myself in 30 minutes. Within that time, I finished what I was doing, and a chat was on going between FC, Ele, Gilfer and myself. One by one, we resigned. All four of us were among the top ten over all posters (at the time), and we believed we'd have an impact. We weren't lashing out at DHQ. It was to point out the errors of TDS's leadership. Why destroy something I worked so hard to make. Within 24 hours, every word I had said had been silenced. The topics deleted, and the truth completely covered up. TDS told DHQ that we had tried to hack the Admin CP, and that we were traitors to DHQ. We were banned.

And so, for a time, there was contention between my forum and DHQ. To DHQ, we looked to be the bad guys. After all, why tell the members the truth of the situation? That would cause doubt.

Getting back to the topic at hand, as those of you who bothered to even read all of that can tell I have some history here, I'd like to address some of the things Yondaime said.

It's the exact same reason I left. And yes, even if you are stating your opinion, it will be suppressed.

Looking at that list, it looks like the entire G-Mod group think it's a good idea. TDS can refuse to do it still, or he can save the forum by merging. Because if he will deny the suggestions of nearly his entire staff, who is left to keep order? Will he do what he did last time and just promote Mods to positions to fill the spaces back in? The end result is this forum is doomed, whether this topic is deleted or not, whether we are banned or not unless TDS accepts the fact that merging is the only option left.

So it's your call TDS and TDG. Save the forum from your own mistakes by actually sharing the power with other Admins by merging, or just roll over and let DHQ crumble.

If TDS and Love really care for DHQ they would accept the decision made by their own staff and let it merge with OB , they would be de admined obviously and can take a break and handle things in real life without having to worry about DHQ . It would save DHQ and why would someone who has worked hard for his forum let it die because he refuses what his OWN staff wants ?

Leaving can sometimes show how much you care for it .

The merger is best suggestion I've seen on this board in a long time.
This is more or less what DHQ has needed since VK, Myself, Gilly and Elly left.
(obviously it's me, Flame Champion, the 5th Admin, champion of justice and righteousness for all here on DHQ, back for the 24th time since the "mutiny".)

The reason we left was because decisions were being made without us, even though we were "equal partners."

Whether you want to admit it or not William, us leaving was the worst thing that ever happened to this board. It started a series of events which has led up to this point. The imminent falling apart of this forum.

If this forum ever meant anything to you besides a chance to boost your own ego, at least do the members a favour and give them somewhere else to go before this place goes down. They deserve it. OB would give them a fair chance to have a fun place to go.

Do what's best for them.

my final serious message to the members of DHQ:

most of you know me. You know me to be a fair, honest guy, regardless of my current relationship with TDS. Don't give up on this place yet. But do what's right for the board. Just because he has the rights to the board does not mean he owns it. This place is created through the hard work of each and every one of us. If William doesn't value the opinions of his trusted staff and members, then you need to either make him see the light through a merger, or get out of here, because this place has become stagnant.

Now's probably not the time, but I'd like to work on repairing the relationships I made here at DHQ. If you guys want to talk, you know where to find me.

TBH i think yondaime just wants to merge so she can admin on the best site, also why not pick yugioh era / yugioh legacy they have way more members then OB and would be better

First of all YL is hacked and lost everything , I see no value in merging with YL .

I tried merging with Era , but they completly dissed the name OB and I dont wanna merge with a board when their memberbase is dissing our name and doesnt show respect .

If you would read , you would have seen that alot of people like my suggestion almost the whole staff agrees and alot of DHQ's staff are members at OB , so we all kinda know eachother so we arent complete strangers to eachother which is a good thing .
