Oh, well. I'v had Diamond pre-ordered for like a month. I already have my team planned ou for wifi battling lol.

im going to trade in my ds for a ds lite so i can get to play over wifi.

Yeah, I'm probably going to get a DS lite this month just to trade my Emerald/Fire Red pokes to myself.

i am a litte dissapointed at the starters specifically the fire one=\. but oh well, the rest of the game looks nice.

The fire monkeys final evolution is an amazing sweeper. None of the starters evolutions look very cool though.

U can also use the gba game slot to add more wild pokemon into your diamond or pearl. that is an awesome feature.

True, but Infernape has much better speed, and learns Nasty Plot. I agree he looks crappy though. And the special pokemon you can only get with the GBA slot is cool, too bad I'm only aware of four you get from it:

I can't wait for this game, I pre-ordered Diamond a few weeks ago. I'll probably get Pearl eventually as well.

Got mine today, it's awesome. It took 30+ tries(I quit counting after awhile) to get a female Chimchar. I'm currently training a Chimchar(obv), Starly, Magikarp, and Budew.

i started off with chimchar also i currently have monferno,staravia,luxio,kricketune and a gold geodude

how would u know what your friend code is

Go to the bottom room of any given Pokecenter. A lady there will give you a pal pad that lets you keep track of your friends. Then go to one of the other ladies at the desk, who will tell you someething along the lines of "You don't have any friends(lol), would you like to find your friend code at least" awnese yes, and you will be asked to save. Do so and you will be taken into the backroom where your DS will hook up to wifi and decconect automatically. Now you can check your pal pad for your own friend code.

So how do I change the happiness of my pokemon so that they will evolve?

and also how do I get gold pokemon?

I don't have Diomand and Pearl yet, but if its the same as how you do it in the prev games then I can help. You get a gold pokemon by just searching, it'll take a long time, or maybe you'll get lucky. But I useually find gold pokemon when I'm battleing wild pokemon. As for changing the happiness, I think you just have to take real good care of the pokemon your raising, and stuff like that.

I got Diamond about a week or so ago (supposed to be out here in june but I got it early >> xD) and i've been attached to it since P= I'm training to take on the 6th gym leader.
I don't have a qi-fi connector yet though ;; *needs to get off my lazy *** and get one*

I still think one of the best pokemon in any of the games is Gyrados or however you spell it the only draw back is his weaknesses

He also has a crappy special attack and even after a Dragon Dance some stuff outspeeds him.

He's still damn good though.

Well, I tried beating the Elite Four for the first time a little while ago and lost on the fourth guys last Pokémon (Level 60 Medicham). I think I did pretty good though because my teams range was only Level 46-52.

Right now I'm going to get all my Pokémon to at least Level 51 before I try again, I plan to beat the game this weekend.
