no its not. they did it on other sites. just make it where the admins have to aprove new members. duh. lol jp

the board was already set up like that for a while.

but it requires that admins be online 2-3 times a day to approve members, or else registering members will get tired of waiting and just not come back.

It happened to several of my old proxy accounts.

The solution would be to have a more active staff who can notice and delete these threads almost immediately. i come on like twice a day, and if I have time to spam in bot threads, there's a moderating issue...

yeah if I had time to be active. Then Id do it. But meh.

very few mods are active.
and those that are can't do anything except edit the posts and wait for someone to finally come online and clean up the mess.

well you will be happy to know that I deleted the posts. And I am one of the more active mods. So I will keep up with it.

i'm thrilled.

We mods do our best to remove the posts and the bots when we see them, and then we allow the admins to IP ban them as well. I believe what we need is an admin who is active when the others are not, as TDS is on durring the AM hours (For me at least) and then there is no one on at night save mods, which can make it difficult to deal with this problem.

As of this time we cant stop bots.
