This place lost it's magic where the hell did it go? What does it say when I can't get an error fixed that prevents me from signing into this site via AOL? Why should I have to download IE just to come here? Inactive dead staff that no longer care much? This site 6 months ago was one of the most happening places in the world of yugioh forums and sites. Now it's a pathetic shell of the past and it's mainly due to alot of the political games staff was playing with one another Flame Champion, Vincent K other I forget and these mass bannings of people with an opinion. Imo you guys forgot the number 1 function of a discussion board is discussion and by killing you killed your brand. I get an E-mail of revival and the first thing I see when I come back is

"Guys, if you want this forum to stay opened, you will cooperate. This means bearing with the staff until things settle down. If not, well then me and the other members certainly don't have to waste our time dealing with all of this. Keep in mind that you are on a Yu-Gi-Oh Forum. I ask you to follow these simple tasks for now: -NO SWEARING -NO FLAMMING Keep the arguments out of here. I will tolerate ***<--this, BUT only if it doesn't call another member a name. Honestly, just deal with it.

Wtf is this? If staff is causing problems with people then no one should have to "bear" with them. Keep in mind this is a Yugiohforum I think staff should read that first =/. I have been owning and running forums for over 4 years now I know what makes and breaks them. If staffwants this place to stay acitve they will cooperate and that means bearing with the members not the other way around. The #1 thing I liked about this place when I enjoyed was the openness I think thats what drew in most of your users.

As for the IP error that keeps me from logging on AOL is that AOL runs Proxy IP addresses and they match some that on your IP ban list but thats ok I dont mind using IE that much. But I did contact staff repeatedly about it and have gotten 0 response or action taken and that too is a problem.

1. I wasn't aware you had to have IE to get in here, I'm not sure wtf that's about, but I'll discuss that with the other admins to fix that problem. We have been getting a ton of bots here recently, and because of this have been doing a ton of ip banning, so that may be the problem.

2. I'm not sure who added that stupid message at the top, but I will take it down later. It's pointless really.

As for the lack of activity, that's partially due to the fact that yugioh has lost alot of popularity. I won't lie, the staff here has made some bad choices, but we are trying to make up for them.

AOL does use proxy servers which matches the banned IP's of spambots on not just invision boards, but Vbulletin and alot of other board softwares as well. AOL is notorious for being retardedly spammy. Solution: Use Mozilla Firefox, Internet explorer or even Netscape navigator. All 3 programs are much better than AOL.

True this board did lose alot of its appeal after Vincent K and I left along with the others, but it was inevitable. When decisions that were made collectively turn into decisions made single-handedly, sites are bound to shift from one type of atmosphere to another. Unfortunately, DHQ shifted down on the crap-o-meter. We're trying to fix that now, with new admins (even though TDS is still around) and no more hostility.

As for the message at the top, everyone just lols at that and ignores it cause it's the stupidest thing I've ever read. You should too. It sounds like the final words of some struggling faschist regime...lol.

The site just went through a rough patch of serious neglect. Give it a little time to grow again under new management (sort of.)


And kudos to having the balls to post this.

If yugioh is dying explain the growth of Dgz, XC, Yugiohforums, YugiohEtc ? Yeah that's a really lame excuse I am sorry to say you should stick with what you know and that neans being respected as a yugioh site.

I guess the owners really did give up on this place. That's sad. You guys used to have a fresh new skin every few months tournaments that actually worked. Deck of the month, Card ratings and articles free and open debate. Then for some reason someone or another grew a big head and started baning members that helped build the forum from the ground up. Then downhill from there to which the state we are all in now. Stuck with a dead board and a bunch of lame ideas on creating some superficial activity and remembering the days of old. Message to TDS + TDG get back and do what's right for this site it needs the only kind of leadership that works and that's direct. If you don't then I suggest kiling it and letting die at least an honarable death and not be a graveyard and shame on the internet for all to see. One or the other and that is what a member who really cares about this site thinks.

this site will be ok if we can members now. Numel and Chaosmage, while they may not be yugioh fans, are not terrible admins and biased. They'll do what's right for the site, not what they want to do.

Thats not what I mean ive made some sites been an admin and mod on some of my friends sites. I have revived 3 of my sites 3 times each, and some of friend's ones a couple times.

I take full blame for this place going down in flames! But if the new admins and staff can get this place going again Im all for it. I stepped down I only own the name but the site is now in capable hands and Im ok with what ever Chaosmage and Numel would like to do with the board. I have no bad feelings for anyone and Im sorry to those I banned(You guys know who you are). I might try to get my gaming clan here but our site takes now all my time, but DHQ could not be in better hands now I fell the admins here are the most fair of any forum there is. I love this place but a good admin I was not. Love you all.
