Fissure was broken?

Sanctity - August 19, 2007 05:01 AM (GMT)
Lawl at Fissure.

I like it.

Me thinks this format will be fun.

Fissure was broken?

obviously smashing ground hit the list because it's mindless 1-1 removal. Fissure is equally mindless. Both work well in gadgets.

Warrior Duelist1 - August 19, 2007 11:53 AM (GMT)
zmbies will be good now.

monarchs and gadgets are now less powerful

actually, gadgets are slightly better now.

you lose 2 smashing and 2 fissure, but gain a 2nd pot of avarice. fissure and smashing can easily be replaced by hammer shot and running a 2nd or 3rd vortex with pot @ 2.

brain control @ 1 hurts monarchs, but again, isn't a necessity, there's still spys, cyber dragon, frog, and even soul exchange. I already ran 2 brain control and 1 soul exchange in my build, so it doesn't hurt that much. plus people can use the grizzly engine to fuel frog faster.

what did take a hit are D-heroes and troop dup, which i like. although trooper @ 2 would have been nicer than trooper @ 1...

Kai Hiwatari - August 19, 2007 06:24 PM (GMT)
well now zombies are broked.

oh well alot of the dhero stuff is gone.

Flame Champion - August 19, 2007 08:24 PM (GMT)
zonbies arent broked without trooper.

they're just ok.

Kai Hiwatari - August 20, 2007 12:34 AM (GMT)
eh well

heres zombie and monarch.

heres other stuff, as of right now.

eseep - August 20, 2007 03:08 AM (GMT)
HA, i called it A LONG time ago, surprised they actually waited this long to put a limit on brain control, but i don't play anymore so no loss to me.

Lord Hokage Josh - August 26, 2007 01:18 AM (GMT)
This is also the TCG list too.

Neo Exodia - August 30, 2007 04:07 AM (GMT)
Well Im getting back in the game. And I like the new list.

ChaosCommandMagician - September 6, 2007 01:57 PM (GMT)
Personally, I love how they finally limited Smashing, Brain Control, and Snipe Hunter. I also enjoy the bans on Confiscation, Ring of Destruction, and Snatch, two of which never belonged back on the allowed list anyway.

I'm also glad they allowed Magician of Faith again. This will aid plenty of decks, and still factor in the choice of target for the situation. Breaker, IMO, never belonged on the banned list. It may have been a beatstick with a MST effect built in, but unless your deck is built on spell counters, which is never competitive these days, it's basically one-time only.

Malicious doesn't really belong on the limited list. It's a weak level 6 monster, with an adequate effect for its level. Similar case with Disk Commander. I'd have put him at 2, because you only get his draw effect when he's special summoned from the grave.

Royal Decree should be semi-limited at all times IMO since it negates all other traps and makes for a much less strategic game at 3 max per deck.

Nobleman of Crossout at 2 makes it much easier to kill some decks, such as monarch and D-Hero. D-Hero rarely uses flips, but the point is that it removes from play the defense that's used to get out the bigger guns and also destroys tribute fodder, and that point applies to both monarch and D-Hero.

Overall, I think they put a lot more thought into deck construction with this list, and makes it much easier to build decks that would be competitive with much more variety in themes.

Forbidden Gods - September 7, 2007 06:26 PM (GMT)
It is definantly an interesting list I think. I don't have anyone to play with anymore though. And YVD never downloads properly when I try lol.

But i will have to try out the list on one of my decks.

Kai Hiwatari - September 13, 2007 01:31 AM (GMT)
Lol this list is awesome.

I actually got to see a Card Trooper for sale in a shop for the first time.

ddrfreakkuya - September 14, 2007 06:37 PM (GMT)
Okay, I've been out of the game for awhile, due to having no one to play, but I am back now, and, of course, first thing I did was go see if my deck was even legal still.

Of course, I had to get rid of Snatch and a Fissure, but I think being able to use another NoE and Breaker makes up for it. I've been looking for something to replace Gilford the Legend with, and thankfully, I can use MoF again, so I switched them.

Personally, I think this is a good list. I think it could be better, but then again, they all could've been better. Didn't hurt my deck, really, it actually gave me the chance to make it better. I play people who use alot of flips (I've seen decks of nothing but flip monsters), so a second NoE helps. w33!
